The Princess of Wales made an unexpected appearance in the opening performance of tonight’s Eurovision Song Contest Final.

The United Kingdom is hosting the contest in Liverpool this year, on behalf of Ukraine, which won last year's competition. The opening film features the Princess joining last year’s champions, Kalush Orchestra, as they performed their winning song, Stefania, from the iconic Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In the pre-recorded video, Kate is seen playing the piano in the Crimson Drawing Room of Windsor Castle, wearing a stunning sapphire blue Jenny Packham 'Marlowe' one-shoulder gown. ID by @Japanese_Ginger via Twitter.
The colour choice is undoubtedly a nod to the Ukrainian flag. The one-shoulder silhouette is made from chiffon that's gently gathered and pleated. It is finished with a crystal embellishment at the waist. The £2,940 dress is currently available at Net-A-Porter and FarFetch .
Kate complemented the gown with the Queen Mother’s Sapphire & Diamond Fringe Earrings.

The color of her gown and her hair are gorgeous! The princess's style and beauty just keep getting better, year after year. Is this blue gown a very similar design to the white gown that she had altered for the BAFTAS?

Yes, it's very similar if not the same base dress. I love the waterfall bodice especially beautifully cascading around the piano.

This is a beautiful gown, the color is gorgeous. The diamond and sapphire earrings were the perfect choice, beautiful earrings. I like the crystal embellishments at the waist.
