William and Kate speak to BBC about mental health during coronavirus pandemic

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spoken to the BBC this morning about mental health during the coronavirus crisis.

The royal couple also took the time to send Captain Tom Moore a special message for his extraordinary fundraising effort for the NHS.

For the occasion, Kate wore the striped sweater she first sported at last year's King's Cup regatta launch.

Thanks for the fabulous suggestion EmmaJ! It looks so close, but the stripe detail near the shoulder does not appear to match. Do you know if there is an image of the top in the colourway worn by Kate?

Hi Elizabeth, to help identify I read on another blog that it could possibly be the Breton striped crewneck sweater made out of wool, it is a past season style from a French label Ami Paris, around $450.00. It looks close, not sure of the neckline, I could not find last year’s version in women. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestion BlondieBlueEye! I've taken a look at the brand and the only similar sweater by Ami Paris appears to have a button detail at the shoulder which I don't think Kate's top has.

Em, this brand was suggested when Kate first wore it in 2019 but on closer inspection, the rib detail on the cuff did not match which is why we ruled in out. Also, this top by Arket has a raglan sleeve and the front and back panels feature opposite patterns, whereas Kate's sweater does not.
