Royal Tour Day 4: Nurturing Kate wears Topshop to feed baby elephants

Fresh from their safari at the Kaziranga National Park, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a quick outfit change before heading off this afternoon for their scheduled engagements.

Kate changed into a floaty knee-length dress from high-street chain, Topshop (quickly identified by @HRHDuchesskate)  She wore the brand's pink Embroidered Smock Dress (£75.00). The floral printed midi length smock dress features an all-over embroidered trim and is finished with a tassel neck tie. It has now sold out, however there are a number of eBay sellers offering the dress.

Kate teamed the dress with her black Pied A Terre 'Imperia' wedges and Accessorize Filigree Bead Short Drop Earrings.

The royal couple's first stop was Pan Bari, a rural village on the outskirts of the Kaziranga National Park.

They were invited to visit a traditional prayer hall, where they entered after removing their shoes.

William and Kate were then shown a traditional weaving loom and also spent some time in the village's tea garden.

Their next stop was the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation where they first had tea with the staff who provide emergency care and rehabilitation to wild animals that have been injured, displaced, or orphaned.

The centre is the only one of its kind in India and it has cared for and released thousands of animals back into their natural habitat. William and Kate were excited to be given the opportunity to feed the baby elephants and rhinos.

Next, William and Kate traveled across the road to the site of the upcoming Kaziranga Discovery Park built by the charity Elephant Family, which was founded by the Duchess of Cornwall’s late brother Mark Shand.

The park provides a health clinic for working elephants and will soon offer an elephant information centre. Their Royal Highnesses also met with villagers who have been relocated by the charity to keep them safely out of the path of an elephant corridor.

Before departing, The Duke and Duchess put the finishing touches on an elephant sculpture to officially mark the ‘call for artists’ for India’s elephant parade, which will see 200 elephants decorated by artists and placed in 200 locations across India by the Elephant Family. These parades have previously been staged in London, Edinburgh, and New York.
